I have worked as a graphic designer since graduation from Skidmore College and moved from New Jersey to Vermont in 1997. Inspired by the scenic beauty around me, I decided to start painting again and took several workshops locally to get back in the groove of painting. A chance freelance job at a nationally prominent pet and outdoor products company led to the idea of doing portraits through their catalog. After a successful venture for both the company and myself, I decided to go out on my own, while still pursuing my graphic and web design business–VTSmartSites.com. I have licensed my dog breed art to various companies including dogflags.com (flags, car mats, mugs, and ceramic jars) and Evergreen Enterprises (insulated tumblers) and I continue to do commissioned portraits from supplied photos.
